EP - Girls Pocketless Clothes,IDEAS

WHAT IS THE ISSUE?
Women's clothes have smaller, fake or no pockets. Women need to carry things, they need pockets and these need to be big enough to hold items safely.

WHY?
The companies making the clothes also make bags and want to sell these, some designer feel they ruin the shape of garments, the designer does not see a need for them as the audience 'always carry bags'.

SOLUTION/IDEAS

WHAT SHOULD BE DONE?

-create a social media presence, branding ect
This would take the form social media campaign shared by the consumer. This sharing then shows the consumer need for pockets to brands.

-inspire brands to change via posters
This would be a campaign that targets brands, demonstrating quotes ect. This would then be sent to brands or post around shops/shopping centers focus fulling making brands change.

-create a guriella style campaign
This would use guriella style advertising tenchqiues to show the issue to brands. This could take many different physical forms.

-zine that shows artist work related to the issue
Compile all the artist worked related to this issue ina zine, then send this to brands to show the range of views on the issue. This could also include points of view stories, and artwork created to support the issue.

-a campaign based around raise awareness of the issue
to advertise the issue, show this to brand as to inspire change

hand drawn text - very feminine
Anthony Burroil - non feminine

Overall the aim of the outcome should be to raise awareness of the issue, the aim of the campaign should be to visually demonstrate the consumer discontent to brands. Give the consumer a platform and means to support the issue, then showcase this to persuade brands to change.

EP - Girls Pocketless Clothes, Survey Research

Survey Research

One of the ideas for this brief is to collect a range of different females views on pockets and then share these with clothing brands in the aim of altering their view on the issue. To do a secondary research into how women feel about it has been collected, this showed that even more women that originally thought had issue fake pockets and smaller pockets. To show more data, and also to collect data i can used myself for this brief a survey and range of female will be contacted to see their view on the subject.

SURVEY RULES
-no leading questions
-keep it quick/simple
-make it easy to understand
-aim it at females
-share over social media
-make it easy to collect data

ALSO EXTENDED PRACTISE TUTORIAL AT SOME POINT
-need the idea for each brief drawn out
-have something to present
-statement for each brief
-prepare on Wednesday

Over the last few weeks, due to COP and PPP focus, The time planning for these briefs needs to be revisited. This is to alter the time for the briefs completed as well as the briefs that should have been done but haven't not due to the overrun of other work.

2 briefs have been finished already, these were originally planned to be produced for Extended Practise, but they are not quality needed by this module or are not successful due to client needs. Due to this, these briefs need to be later for.

CHANGES
-Cannot do the Wix brief, this was set by a visiting professional last week but even after emailed them more information the brief wasn't sent over, this was also promised after the talk but the information to complete this is not avaible.

-Also the Fine Art logo brief was very open, they didn't give a description or them of what they wanted, it was too open for extended practise therefore i'm going to do this but in my own style therefore for PPP.
