#mentalhealthawarenessday is a social media campaign relating to world mental health day, this is where suffers, supports or anyone post their stories, imagery, type, tweet ect to raise awareness for mental health. The main is to normalise mental health, to create a large catalogue of support. Mental health has a very large social stigma around it , this is one way charities are trying to fight this.
'World Mental Health Day, hosted by the World Federation of Mental Health, is on 10 October each year. To help mark the occasion, we’re raising awareness of what can be done to ensure that people with mental health problems can live with dignity'
Over just Instagram there are a large amount of posts supporting this, 15,00 spelt right (some spelt wrong). The aim is the more people that most the more suffers realise they're not alone and to raise awareness around the issue.
Most of the post surrounding the issue are selfies, or photos of suffers but some of the post shared are typographical pieces, similar to ones already researched.
This is another use of this type of typographical piece surrounding mental health. This is another way the outcome for this brief out be used and shared.
As #mentalhealthawarenessday was last week a very quick small piece was created for the day to be shared on personal social media. This was a piece created just as to express personal feelings related to the subject area. One of the major feeling i had when i suffered was that i felt bad for feeling that way, therefor i created a piece based around removing the guilt.
idea for brief outcome
-Positive, bright typography combined with a serious message validating the issue.
