406 Studio Brief 2 - Licence to Print Money, More Research

Since the idea of creating a note based around the national flower for each country relays heavily on that each country will need a national flower to make this concept work over all, i researched into if every country has one and if the flower is relevant to representing the country.
I have found this websites that lists all the countries with their national flower and include a small explanation, this show this history of the flower and its relevance to the country. This makes this idea suitable for the brief as it cn be applied to more than just one country is if needed.

Each flower has been picked because of the history of the country which gives the concept another meaning.
As the aim for my idea the note will
-reflect the beauty of each country
-group the world together as a whole by giving a overall defining currency
-representing each country as individual but in group, as different but part of set
-reflect the environment in aim to raise awareness for recycling/the importance of saving the planet
-reflect the history/important part of each country
-educate about nationalisum in each country (via including information about the flower and its meaning)
-stand for the country
-be visually pleasing as this is for an exhibition, it needs to look like a piece of art
-celebratory
-positive
All these feature are seen in my research into existing notes or rebranded notes. So far this is the most practical idea, its the concept that i feel is the most serious and could be applied in real life to this brief as a practical project but also will work for this brief as the flowers will capture the beauty of the country therefor make the artwork fit for a exhibition that relays on visual ascetics.

for this brief the aim is to print a visual version of one note(or more) for the concept, as this idea is a set i will aim to produce a note that reflect the uk (or one country) only for the exhibition but may show how this style can be applied to different countries by having a clear grid system or plan that will applied to each different note is this was used as a practical brief.
As this brief is for the exhibition that needs to piece to be as ascetically pleasing as possible i will select a range of flowers i feel are the bat looking then get feedback to which i should us then based the note around the corresponding country.

Adverting concept
As money/notes has one of the largest audience ranges of any graphic design in the world, this will make it very suitable for a form of unique advertising as it will allow the work to reach a large audience. The larger the audience the more people pay for adverts, because of this money could raise loads of fund for the countries government/industries via a large sponsorship deal. This way money could raise awareness but also fund the countries at the same time.
issues - as the country would be promoting the adverts on their notes, to be allowed on the notes the companies must follow a set of rules set by each country, this will make sure they are not promoting anything that has a negative impact or will look bad. guidelines ail need to be set so it doesn't promote anything negative or anything that will offend the audience, because of this it will be very hard to find a company that no one has an issues with and that is checked so its morally correct.
MAKE SURE IT PROMOTES POSITIVE COMPANY/INDUSTRY ONLY
but this is for an exhibition, these rules will only have to apply if the note is being uses in circulation but for the exhibition only it can advertise anything i find suitable/feel appropriate as a sponser.

Celebrate Culture
Overall money is more used by the younger generation as in most countries you have to be over 16 to have a credit card or a debit card, because of this they have to use more physical money than any other age group. Children and young adults therefore could be the target audience for the money designed for this brief. As many cultures feel that they need to be promoted more to this age group more one concept is to use the notes to celebrate the countries design/culture/ideas via the note designed. Design the note include styles that publicise the culture/heritage more so the younger generation have more association with it.
As well as children/younger adults, tourist are one of the markets who use notes the most when they travel. Having a note that inform/memorialises culture can work for informing visiting tourists on where they are visiting, giving them information about the culture they are going to/are.
This concept could be apply to every different country, each country could produce a note that reflect important features of its culture/history.
