406 Studio Brief 3 - Collaboration Brief - Secret Seven

Secret Seven

One of our ideas of our concepts is to send of a brief to other designer/companies and to get they to create part of the artwork we display against out work, this is slightly like the way that secret seven creates the content for its exhibitions. Since we will be asking professionals to design a coin for the exhibition to help raise awareness about the exhibition as people are more likely to visit if it included works they have created, this will involve professional to come down and to see our work at the same time. It gives them  change to get shown and us a chance to include them in our work/exhibition. Its a fun brief that we can send to as many professionals as we want and also post online for anyone to join in, the more people who enter the more who learn about us and the more who visit.

Also if professional come down and showcase their work, they will share it on social media raising awareness for our exhibition to their followers/fans, this targets a even wider range of professionals which is or target audience.

To make sure we do this as a success first i am looking into how secret seven present/advertising themselves, how they appeal to designer so they complete their brief so we can do similar. Secret seven get submissions from many different artist without having to send of briefs but by posting it online, using twitter, Facebook, Instagram to connect which a wide range of creatives.

secret seven have an Instagram that they share pictures and tag artists in that have submitted work, they post small secret photos of the exhibition coming together and the work. This shows people a small selection of the work to spark interest and shows that big art its enter, showing that big art its enter gives the competition a more serious sense as people will be attracted to visit it to see their favourite art its work for free. Their over all instragm page is very active whilst keeping very modern and cool which will attract people to visit, it gets followers from people who submit or artist who want to see others artwork or by artists follower.

Secret seven have a website online that allows anyone who has seen anything or hear of them to google they brand and find out more, this opens up the audience as well as anyone can come across the website they don't have to be an artist. This means they get more people who are just interested in looking at the exhibit visiting as they can see all the details in one place very easily excess-able.
EASY TO FIND OUT 
This also allows people to submit online entries as JPEGS, this reduced the price of printing, makes it easy/quick to enter, makes it free, makes it easy to enter more than one, allows anyone from anywhere to enter.
This is something we could do fro our brief, if we allowed anyone to entrée which an online submission it would encourage more people to join in, it will also make sure more people know about exhibition as they can easily find out all the needed details.


There is also an contact us part of the website that will allow anyone with any questions to ask the, this give the its a connection to the public and its audience, we should make sure we have a war that our professional can ask us any questions they may have about the brief, rather than them just not doing it.
