Re-Written Brief
For this module the brief has to be written by the designer, this is to allow the class to get used to more professional practice where this will be wrote in either by the client or by the designer. Writing our own brief will allow control over the creative output as it allow us to pick the subject area we're focus on for this brief, the subject has to have a digital design output but this can vary around a problem we encounter or know about in every day life.
idea
how to express vintage style via digital design, how to make the vintage we are cow shops website reflect the shopping experience/shows the benefits of vintage to increase the sales. The problem is that the website doesn't reflect the brand.
BRIEF-
Context
WeareCow is a Vintage clothes shop situated around the uk, it aims a very specializes target market of younger more hipster vintage clothes shoppers. All their products are inspired and created from a mix-n-match of vintage items with a eco, more moral twist heavily influencing the work to help sell to this audience the
Problem
As the current the website design doesn't reflect the visual aesthetic of the brand or the shops this is a downside as the interior design of the shops a way the shop mainly attracts/appeal to the target market/customers. Due to the website design being drastically different the shops current website does not appeal to this target market, the commercial nature of the design heavily contrast the shops more manual aesthetic. The site itself also doesn't include any of the shops quirky aspects which used to attract the target audience as well as encourage them to buy more product or allow them to see how to wear the clothes combinations.
As well as the design asethically issues with the site there is a range of issues associated with usability elements of the design, the site is confusing due to the nature its formed around a commercial high-street website yet not adapted for the vintage store capabilities even thought vintage shopping and the shop products differ. The shop is not a commercial highstreet store yet online is branded and designed as one.

The aim of this brief is to create a website design for the brand WeareCow that reflects their brand aesthetic in way that will allow the shop to appeal digital to the target market. As well as this the website will need to reflect the benefits of vintage shopping experience as a way to sell the products to the audience as well as make the over online shopping experience easier for them. The outcome needs to target the audience in a direct way to sell more products to them whilst highlight the benefits of the shops values/themes.The website also need to make sure its fit for the differences of vintage shopping, have features and aspects that portray this experience.
