The Women's March was a worldwide protest on January 21, 2017, to advocate legislation and policies regarding human rights and other issues, including women's rights, immigration reform, healthcare reform, reproductive rights, the natural environment, LGBTQ rights, racial equality, freedom of religion, and workers' rights. As many of the marcher where feminist, this shows their support of equality rather than just women's rights.
This was a feminist march, that support feminist view around America and the rest of the worlds and has been one of the biggest feminist statements of the 21st century.
Most of the rallies were aimed at Donald Trump, immediately following his inauguration as President of the United States, largely due to statements that he had made and positions that he had taken which were regarded by many as anti-women or otherwise offensive.
It was the largest single-day protest in U.S. history. The Washington March drew 440,000 to 500,000 people, and worldwide participation has been estimated at five million. At least 408 marches were reported to have been planned in the U.S. and 168 in 81 other countries

Signs
One of the most publicized aspect of the march was the signs created by the marchers, these all related to issues surrounding the motives for and expressed the message that the women march aimed to protest.
signs give by the march organisers |
The organizers created a few sign marcher print off and could use to show support, but many created their own and it's wit/power that went into these signs that sum up third wave feminism.
