505 Design Practise 2 - Studio Brief 1- Posters for the Event

Posters for the Event 

As this brief is to create poster for the Magic lantern Festival, yet as this is modern day event there are already a range of different digital poster created as the advertising. The aims of these was to persuade people to go to the event rather than as celebrating the event, therefor it's current poster will be analyses to examine what the defining feature the brand included in their versions. 

Also this poster aims to be very different form the current posters as to give a different tone and style, all these are created digitally yet this brief must be created a manual this will cause a very different style of outcome. 






The poster deigns for the event all follow the same house style of designs, dark background with the lantern imagery glowing as the forefront/focal point. The current poster are a very realistic representation of the event as to show the audience the content of the event,  showcase the viewer will see at the event.

The concept of the current poster are to attract viewer to the event as via showing the visual aspect and selling point of the vent in a realistic accurate manner. This would be very heard for this brief as already highlighted earlier printing onto black stock as a background would be very difficult therefor the aim of the poster in to instead visually represent the event more abstract way.  These poster show directly what the audience will see at the event, were as the outcome for this brief will hint  at the content and tone but yet leave more up to the viewer imagination as not to micim these.
