After research into the brand, and what the brand is looking for for the response for this project a few things have been outlined as features important to include or to consider for this brief now we have an idea of the brand want in the next group meeting a few more personal ideas as well as the ideas we looked as a group in the last meeting will be discussed more in-depth with all members.
The ideas should be typical British moment/typically British things / or things all British people can relate too. This is to find things that can inspire and be the basis or the response for this brief, it need to reflect the Gin, British culture, and Greenall's as brand.
personal ideas -
British illustrators/Children books as children moment people will remember watching these
- any British people read the same book as children, this idea would be a special edition bottle drawn in the style of the artist, a collectable piece that relate back to the target audience childhood. This take inspiration fro the current re-drawn sun logo by David hockey, the bottle label could be re-create in the style of famous illustrators.
zine, captures a range of the moments and adds gin -
create free give away zine, that could included drawing/images/colleges of people drinking greenall's gin at traditionally British times, this would target the market as zine are seen a new cool trend for millennials currently very popular. Designed to make the gin seem more relevant, hip and cool.
Wimbledon inspired cocktail, moment is watching Wimbledon and eating strawberries and cream -
as everyone associates Wimbledon with strawberries and cream this would create a cocktail for the tennis season inspired by the famous dessert, could be sold around the time of Wimbledon as a special edition.
Gin as a solution to first world millennial issues, representing annoying British moment -
this idea would find issues or small celebrations that British millennials experience on a daily basis then have Gin as the solution to make them better as the treat after. 'rain day, solve it with a greenall's', 'get a question right on university challenge, celebrate with a greenalls' takes inspiration from these buzzfeed articles. link to the mention of British humour in the brief.

flower inspired special edition, capturing the british beer garden/bbq culture-
this was an idea discussed as a group last time, to create a bottle or promotional work based around British flowers and British country side/ summer as at summer most British people will have BBQ go to pub gardens, or just generally go outside so this is represent this a British nature via a bottle that capture wild the British country side.
James bond/harry potter/beatrice potter - as children moment people will remember watching these
this idea would be to create little short adverts that showed famous British films or book or tv series but with gin placed in them instead of the normal drinks. For examples James bond would be gin and tonic instead of Martine.
in the next meeting these will be pitched to the group along with these ideas to select the final idea and what we'll work on from now on
