503 Responsive Studio brief 2, Key Elements of Colbration

Key Elements of Collaboration

Motivation - All the team need to be aware of all the members aims and goals for the brief, everyone in the brief need to gain something from the experience.

Communication - The project need to be communicated well thought out the brief duration, the aims, goals ideas and outcome form each member need to be consider and understood by everyone taking part.

Diversity - Each member of the group need to bring a unique skill set to the project, each different person will have different skills, which will be useful and enhance the final out come, uses these as much as possible as other wise the brief is outcome will be too simailr.  so exploring and taking advantage of these is what collaboration is about.

Sharing - Its vital to be flexible with the over-ship of the ideas, what have you done, what have you thought of as we submitted to uni separately but the then entered to the company as a group. Make it clear who has done what and what has been done.

Support - The support of the other collaboration is the process is important, especially at times of crisis. All members needs to be supported, need to feel part of the group or else this will effect the outcome negatively. People need to be supportive of issues, any reason why someone cannot come in or is unavailable should be fixed rather than focused on as a negative. Work around issues rather than focusing on the downside, skype chats or group messager can make people feel more involved so they can be included more.

Problem Solving  - Present ideas, always get feedback on ideas to make sure the results fix the issues. Ideas will not always be loved by the group, make sure the group all feels part of the brief and the idea process rather than thinking of one idea by one person.
