Fine Art Logo, Poster Feedback

Poster Feedback

Feedback for the poster designs via the client, main points to change
-go back to first logo
-change the colour scheme
-do not include white circles/idea 6

Back to first logo

This is the logo the client wants to use instead of the altered version, this is the first logo suggested. Due to this reverting the posters will have to be altered to fit the different shape fully in a A4/A5 scale, an issue faced when original trying to design the posters as this means the logo needs to be smaller to fit.

The client aims for the logo to remain the main focus of the posters, but with the altered shape the logo size will have to be scaled down. This will be explained when the posters are sent over to the client as the current designs form mets this aim more accurately.

COLOUR SCHEME CHANGES -

Feedback also stated they wanted a new colour scheme, (even-thought the organiser like the yellow) a few more test where needed. As Fine Art is very wide artistic discipline (which work ranging for sculpture to video to paint) it's hard to represent all the ideas/styles equally.  Traditional fine Art colour scheme research was completed, as to analyse famous historical pieces to see if these colours could be applied.

Also, the college colours where a focus/ idea for the colour schemes. These colours where taken from the course website as to visually tie and represent the course to the poster/event, whilst linking to the university branding visually.

uni colour schemes

One of the main colours used in the posters current is yellow and blue, the client asked to avoid yellow but not blue due to this they must like this colour idea. Also more blue based colour scheme will be explored.

After the feedback for the client, the poster need to be redesigned/ rethought to fit the new criteria. To do this, more fine art show posters have been researched. This is to see how much focused they place on the logo, and how they designs for such a wide range of work/outcomes and styles.
