At digital print at uni, there is 3 stock choice available, there are satin, gloss and matt. These are stocks that wouldn't necessarily be used if the the book was being mass produced as these are the only stocks available at uni for this current book. An concept for the page stock of the book was to produced it on a range of different textured pages this has not be possible due to no access to a range of different stock but if this was possible the book would be produced on paper with a different textured finish to reflect the different range of texture/style at the festival as well as to reflect the experience as more than just a sight document but as a book that can be felt too. Using different textures of paper would also make the book more engage for the audience as it wold appeal to them on more than just a visual level.

disadvantages- doesn't represent the disposable photo quality/finish, very serious associations, too luxurious/non disposable to represent festival cheap nature, no shiny, highlights the blurry images

advantages- shiny finish, textured finish, more like disposable camera shot, cheap look, can print double sided
disadvantages- mimic disposable photo style but not accurate,
GLOSS

advantages- accuate to disposalble quailty, more suitbale/aim for by this brief, veru shiny/reflect cheapness, finsih distrct for the blury image squialty, textured finsih represnts the disposable nature
disadvantages-CANNOT PRINT DOUBLE SIDED
FINAL - As the publication has been designed to be double sided book with double sided pages this means that gloss paper cannot be used. This is annoy as it's the most accurate page stock that reflect the disposable photo style best therefor the most suitable for the book but cannot be used. As this cannot be used for the full pages it will be used for the page of removable photos, this is as these photos need to be one sided only as there will be writing on the back as well as making the removable photo accurate to the original imagery as possible. Also having this image stock in combination with the rest of the book which will have to be satin and the transclear textured pages will allow a range of different stock choices in the book with was aimed for. The textures will be mix of plastic, satin and gloss stocks therefore create a more interactive, touchable finish to the book which was aimed for. Satin stock ill be used for the book as this is most accurate to disposable style imagery finish that can be printed double sided as well as it gives a shiny finish to the imagery that distracts from the blurry images where as matt enhances this, also the satin is a textured glossy finish which will be slightly less overpowering for the audience as the book as 36 pages so could be too much gloss is the whole book was printed in this style.
