EP - Girls Pocketless Clothes, Idea Feedback/Crit

Idea Feedback/Crit

'do more research into campaigns that have worked, why they work and what form they take'
'social media is a good media for issue like this'
'make something physical, like patches or pins to'
'could you combine ideas? a social with a patch?'
'make it lighthearted/humours, its an issue but it's not the end of the world so play on that'
'keep it positive, we want pockets rather than overly serious'
'make it feminine, its a feminine issue'
'pussy riots and see red posters are too serious for this issue'
'the sticker and badge style seems to fit with the issue the best visually, its not to serious'
'i don't think brand will listen to a zine, they'll just bin it'
'it needs to be unavoidable for the brands, make it everywhere'
'i support it, but its not the biggest issue in my life so it needs to be not to serious'
'focus on social, but do more social media research too'
'i don't know if anyone will care'
'as it about pockets, patches and pin work well as this can be applied to pockets/clothes'
'i share pretty or funny things, make like that'
'it's a very first world issue, don't over complicate it'
'zine seems abit strange, it doesn't fit'

After the crit it was made clear the tone of the brief needs to be lighthearted, the group understood the issue but also focus on the fact it's not the biggest more serious feminist issue currently.  Compared to other issue it seems silly, therefor do no compare it to these. Make sure it's a suitable tone for the problem.

Also the crit feedback that social media campaign and the guerrilla advertising would be the most suitable media. The feedback particularly like the patch and sticker style of visuals, this should be researched more. Try to cross over the channels, social and guerrilla the patches and pin idea seem very popular as this matches the physical nature of the problem.

Make sure the target market is indentifited then the visual created to fit with this.
